Hi, I’m Ellie, and I’m so happy you stopped by!

I founded Talou in 2023, with a mission to make doting on little explorer’s as guilt free and enjoyable as it ought to be. 

Having worked for 10 years in the fashion industry, I took a career break in 2019 to look after my new born twins. Clearing out clothing every time they grow a size made me really concerned about the huge waste problem in childrenswear, so I set my mind to building a business that would allow product to be circulated as much as possible before its end of life, and recycled once it can no longer be worn. 

I wanted to create clothing that reflects the joy and creativity of childhood, in colours that will be loved by parents and little explorers alike. I hope you find your child’s favourite colour amongst our ever evolving collection of high quality knitwear.
